What type of events do you cater for?
We cater for corporate functions, birthdays, weddings, university events, festivals, and private parties.
Where are you based, and how far do you travel?
We are based in Melbourne but travel anywhere in Victoria. Travel fees may apply depending on your event location.
Do you have a minimum spend?
Yes, our minimum spend is:
$1,800 ex GST for weekday events
$2,000 ex GST for weekend events
How do I book Cornutopia for my event?

Menu & Dietary Requirements
What’s included in your packages?
Our Basic Package includes tacos and tortilla chips, while the Premium Package offers a wider selection of Mexican street food. All packages include food, staffing, setup, and clean-up.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
We can accommodate Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Nut-Free, Egg-Free, Seafood-Free, Soy-Free, Vegan, Vegetarian, Halal, and Low-Carb/Keto diets.
Can I customize my menu?
Absolutely! We can tailor the menu to suit your preferences and event style.
Do you provide dessert?
Yes, we offer churros, scoop gelato, and choc tops as optional add-ons.
Service & Logistics
How long do you serve food for?
Our standard meal service time is 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the package. Additional time can be purchased if needed.
Do you require power?
We prefer access to a power point, but we can operate without one if necessary.
How much space do you need for setup?
We require a flat, accessible area to park the food truck. If you’re unsure, let us know and we’ll discuss setup options.
Do you provide plates, cutlery, and napkins?
Yes, all necessary servingware is included in our packages.
When do you arrive and leave the event?
We arrive at least 45 minutes prior to service to set up and prepare. After meal service, we leave 15–30 minutes after completion to clean up and pack down.
Pricing & Payment
How much does catering cost?
Our pricing is based on a per-person rate, with packages starting at $29 per head (ex GST). Travel fees may apply depending on the location.
What’s your payment policy?
A $1,000 deposit is required to secure your booking, with full payment due 4 weeks prior to the event.
What if my guest count changes?
We require final guest numbers at least one week before your event to allow for adjustments.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand plans can change. You may reschedule your event once, according to our terms. Though refunds aren't available, we're committed to meeting your needs and arranging a new date for your event.
